Today our beloved Sun came out in force and stayed bright and shiny all day. An unusual event lately, for sure. We had a lovely Church experience this morning.
Not only were the talks inspirational and tear-jerking but we met with our youth class for the first time since the Covid mess complicated so many lives. A better bunch of 9 year olds does not exist, I am convinced.
We also enjoyed our usual Sunday treat when we got home. My blood sugar got a bit high afterwards and rather than pumping too much extra insulin I decided to take advantage of such an unusual sunny day and take a trike ride, which always works off a few dozen points in blood sugar level.
I started much later than usual, but since the sun (when it's VISIBLE) doesn't go down until around 8 PM I thought I was fairly safe.
AND it was definitely a good day for a ride. The sun was warm (80 degrees today) but there was a mild cooling breeze and many shady trees along the route.
Crossing the N-S main artery into McDonalds parking lot, I spotted an RV I couldn't resist admiring.
As I passed, I told the owner I was thinking about putting this logo on our RV.
Which would be cool except we haven't "slept around" ANYwhere recently in ours.
Hopefully we can remedy that before too much longer.
When I huffed and puffed back home, my BG had dropped dramatically but not yet acceptably low.
Within the next half hour it had dropped even more, without further effort on my part.
