Jacque had been making noises about wanting to take a trike ride, so instead of riding solo or riding separate machines, I dragged out the monster Tandem Terratrike and we saddled up and went, doggies and all. Callie the Cat stayed home.
This trike is heavy and a bit awkward, but of course fun to ride. Even these slight grades around city streets can be exhausting, requiring frequent access to Grandma Gear as we trudge slowly up grades of very slight ascent.
Thus we settled for a short but enjoyable loop.
For some reason the weather was warm, clear, and beautiful, and we encountered several enthusiastic onlookers of various ages as we passed by. All good-natured waves and comments.
Of course we need to do this more often so we can have sufficient stamina to ride farther for more exercise and enjoyment. We both slept nicely that night...
