I goofed off almost too late yesterday, but decided to stretch the old legs just before sundown.
It was a good thing, as usual. This time I didn't get exhausted for some reason, just mood enhancement.
The weather had started out cloudy in the morning but cleared off to a lovely Indian Summer day the rest of the time.
I thought initially I would ride clear out to the Mountain Grove International Memorial Airport but the sun was getting so low that it would have been right in my eyes going that direction so I turned around early.
I have ridden to and around this airport many times and have never seen an airplane in operation, and only one or two crop sprayers tied up outside. Big Time.
Vehicular traffic was scarce, which was nice also.
Back at the Ranch, as they say, the destructo bathroom remodel is still making slow progress.
I've got a couple "before" photos but no "afters" yet, so I'll wait to post that sort of stuff.
The weather's getting colder, of course, meaning I'll soon be wearing layers for all rides, not just occasionally.
