Beep-Beep!! Two Roadrunners Today

Track the birdbrain via ham radio. GPS, and the Internet

Fan-Tabuloous ride to work this morning.  I saw two separate Roadrunners today, and the best video is of this guy just before I exited Balloon Fiesta Park.  Watch for the little blur scurrying across in front of me:

We had a fire scare of our own yesterday:  Eight homes burned in the Sherwood Forest subdivision near Tajique, south of Tijeras.  Evidently the firefighters were able to put it down quickly because there were no alarms about it this morning.  Ruidoso also lost several homes to a blaze that seems to have been started intentionally.  BAH

It's a wonderful thing the mornings are such pleasant riding.... 'cuz the afternoons tend to be a bit less enjoyable with the afternoon winds that blow in.
